Juan Valdez
"Did you see the guy who won the million chip pot," one of the railbirds asked the media.  In a short recap, Juan Valdez got it in aces versus kings on a king high flop, but Juan would run out a flush to win the pot (putting him over one million).

Walking over to confirm the exact count for Valdez, he'd be on the river of a pot against Dan Sewnig.  There would already be close to 170,000 in the pot, on a board of Q 9 3 2♣ K♠.  Valdez would have a river bet of 140,000 in front of him, and Sewnig would be deep in the tank.  Sewnig would eventually decide to make the call, and Juan would show 2x 2x (bottom set), which would go for the pot and would bring Valdez up to 1,450,000.

Valdez is the clear chip leader early in Day 2, and is looking to best his largest career score to date of $5,187.  That cash came two series ago when he finished 9th at the Big Stax 300 (Big Stax V) final table.
