Level 5 (Blinds 200/400/50)
Total Day 1A Entries: 49
Will "The Thrill" Failla wasn't able to find much traction with his first bullet of the day, already down to less than 20 bigs only an hour after sitting down. He was UTG+2 and announced himself all-in before the cards were even dealt, with everyone at the table folding. The very next hand he would do the same thing, leaving out 7,100 right across the line as the dealer was cutting the deck.
This time he would get a call from the player to his direct left, with action folding around to Jonathan Borenstein in the big blind. Borenstein would three bet to 22,000, and the isolation raise would work, as he got the hands heads up with Failla (playing blind). Jonathan would turn over 9♥ 9♠, with Failla telling him he had at least one over. Will's hand was eventually tabled after a slow peel (Q♥ 3♣), with the A♦ 8♦ K♠ K♦ 8♠ runout less than helpful. Failla said good luck to his table mates and walked to the cage to re-enter the tournament.
