Just over (72) hours after chopping his first major tournament, Craig Bateman (Bryn Mawr, PA) is back in action for today's Day 1A.  Craig came into Day 3 of the Big Stax 500 3/15 in chips, but as play reached the final table, he began to separate himself from the field.  It also helped that he picked up pocket aces in some critical spots, and won each of those hands.  Bateman was the overwhelming chip leader when play got three-handed, and ended up getting $71,719 for his share of the deal, and got to go home with the trophy.
