Players Remaining: 10
Chip Average: 5,500,000
Level 29 started just moments ago, with players now posting blinds of 50,000/100,000/10,000. On the last hand before break, Dennis Thurman doubled up in dramatic fashion. Thurman and Michael Jelaso got to the turn in a raised pot, and on a board of A♠ 7♥ 3♣ 5♦, the chips got in with Thurman at risk:
Thurman: 7♣ 5♣ Jelaso: A♦ 7♦
River: 5♠
Jelaso would have Dennis drawing to two outs, holding a better two pair (and sharing the sevens). Even the rail would have a reaction when the five hit the river, with Dennis able to sit back down with 5,200,000. After absorbing the loss, Jelaso dips down to 10,800,000.
