Big Stax 300 (Day 1B): Chapman Triples Up

Level 11 (Blinds 800/1,600/200)
Total Day 1B Entries: 419

Ross Chapman (New Providence, NJ)
After an open and a flat, Ross Chapman would three-bet shove his 45,000 stack.  The original raiser would then shove as well (60,000), with the player who flatted shoving as well (80,000).  It would be a three-way all-in pre, with Ross live for the main pot, worth close to 140,000:

Chapman: A♠ A♣
Player X: A Q♠ (original raiser)
Player Y: K K♠ (flatter)

Runout: 4♠ 6♠ J♣ 2 J

Ross would scoop up the main pot, tripling his stack to 150,000.  Chapman is known for his second place finish in this exact event during the Big Stax II series.  It was one of only a few Big Stax trophy events to get played out to completion (Michael Wert would win), with Chapman earning per $35,000 for the finish.
