GAMBLING PROBLEM? CALL 1-800-GAMBLER

Tuesday, August 12, 2014

Big Stax 500 (Day 3): 4th Place - Zaslavsky ($23,294)

Level 31 (Blinds 75,000/150,000/25,000)
Players Remaining: 3
Chip Average: 12,400,000

Eugene Zaslavsky (Marlboro, NJ)
Just as Vinny Pahuja walked away from the tournament podium, the Eugene Zaslavsky would be all-in and at risk on the flop against Craig Bateman (for a 6,500,000 pot):

Flop: 8♣ K 9♣

Zaslavsky: K10
Bateman: Q♣ 10♣

Turn: A♠
River: A♣

Everyone remaining was focused on the felt, waiting for the dealer to put out the turn.  The ace of spades was not the card Bateman and his rail were looking for, but when the board paired with the ace of clubs, those remaining would turn into a trio that quick.
