Walking by Table 50, there would be an open to 1,300 in front of Ulises Roman (in the hijack). Chris Klodnicki would three-bet from the button to 3,500, with James Kaplan four-betting from the small blind to 12,100. Alex Queen folded his big blind and Ulises followed suit, with action now back on Chris. He would check back at his cards twice, shooting a glance over Kaplan's way. Klodnicki would then drop chips across the line, five-betting to 43,500. James thought for a short while before lifting his hand high enough to just see an ace as he folded the hand.
It wasn't more than a few hands later that action between the two would be picked up again, this time on the turn of a board reading J♥ 3♣ 2♠ A♠. Kaplan would be all-in this time, sitting with 27,900 in front of him, with a pot already close to 14,000. The two would exchange a few words back and forth (in regards to the prior hand), before Chris looked back and his cards and pushed them towards the muck. After both hands, the two players stand at:
